Bird and Butterfly Trail – Cinnamon Lodge Habarana ~

The ecosystem around us at Habarana Lodge by Cinnamon was carefully designed to invite nature in all forms. Thankfully, nature responded in a chirpy, colourful pattern. 48 species of birds and 50 different kinds of butterflies flock around in our abode seasonally. So, wake up a little early and take a stroll in our expansive lush gardens and spot them all. You will also be guided by our naturalists who will tell you endearing stories on bird behaviour. Watch out for a young eagle screeching atop a branch or kingfishers and whistling teals darting across our endless pathways. Walk a little further to spot butterflies fluttering around the bushes in our organic garden. The tiger butterfly is the most common variety and the others in various colours will leave you in awe of nature’s creativity!
