Guided Nature Walk
Cinnamon Wild Yala
~
Living in wilderness does not get more candid than a stay with us at Cinnamon Wild Yala. A team of wild boars wandering around our pool, or an elephant drinking water off it, is a sight we are privileged to enjoy.
Walk around the pathways and you’ll find monitor lizards slithering around. If you happen to take an early morning walk, you might be able to spot a wild hare, right out of children’s storybook. The lake right next to us is home to 2-3 crocodiles too. Extreme luck might reward you with a leopard sighting, less than half a kilometer away from the hotel.
Our premises is also home to birds, like the Spot billed Pelican, Painted Stork, Grey Heron, Lesser Whistling Duck, Black Winged Stilt, Mongolian Plover, Curlew Sandpiper, Ruddy Turnstone and Indian Nightjar.
While our naturalists point out at the diverse wildlife that our property today houses, they will also show you to the dunes that protected us from the wrath of Tsunami. Ask them about their adventures in the wild and take back stories that might give you goosebumps.
